Aeldari

Your Farseer council has detected the coming of the Priam Crusade and the risk this provides not only to the Craftworld Tor’Lindon but to the long term threat to your own Craftworld.

Playing as an Aeldari

An Aeldari player is playing all sides and has their own goals. You work differently to almost all of the other players.

Gaining Strategic Points

You may gain Strategic Points in the following ways.

  1. While Craftworld Tor’Lindon is alive gain 30 strategic points each event day.
  2. Completing the strands of fate. You will receive strategic points for each strand of fate card you complete.

Master Unit List

You need to create a 6,000pt master unit list. This list is the units you will draw on to aid you in your endeavours.

This master unit list only needs to include characters, wraith units and aspect warriors. It may not include an Avatar.

Non Master Unit List Units

You may field any units not allowed in your master unit list in your games. You must pay 1 Strategic Point for each unit fielded.

Spirit Stones

Your warriors have gone to war with their spirit stones, these protections against the predations of Slaanesh are vital.

When a unit is destroyed place an objective marker representing the units Spirit Stones. Any friendly unit may complete the following action when within 3″ of the objective; Recover: This action may be started at the end of your movement phase by any Aeldari unit. At the end of your next movement phase. Remove the Spiritstone objective from the table if completed.

Any Spiritstone Objective left on the table is lost.

The Strands of Fate

Each Aeldari player is dealt 5 Strands of fate cards. These represent their objectives, these may be objectives that need to be completed in a game or that need to be completed on the campaign map.

Each time you complete a strand of fate card you will gain a number of strategic points. If you fail the Strand of Fate then you hand it to your opponents that it states receive the card.
Failing Strands of Fate cards will give your opponents clues as to the location of Tor’Lindon.

When you fail or succeed a Strand of Fate draw a new card.

Plucking the Strands

As an Aeldari player you may give Strategic Points to any player of any faction, you may also play as any faction in a planetary invasion. Eg. you may choose to play as an Imperial Player in an invasion, meaning that if you hold the table it will count as an Imperial win towards controlling the planet.

The Craftworld Tor’Lindon

Tor’Lindon has been repaired and now roams, hidden from the eyes of potential enemies. Each event day the Aeldari Players can decide to move Tor’Lindon to another system. If discovered Tor’Lindon will be under threat from a potential invasion, ensure the Strands of Fate are correctly weaved or calamity may consume the Craftworld!

If another faction gathers 3 Strand of Fate cards they will be able to locate Tor’Lindon. They will then be able to initiate a Battlefleet Gothic game to attempt to land their armies on the Craftworld, if they succeed the Craftworld has been reached and an Invasion will begin, it will remain under invasion until the invasion is resolved even if it has moved since. But it is your duty that this must not come to pass.
