ADEPTA SORORITAS UPDATE:

17 November 2023

Adepta Sororitas

Your forces have joined the Priam Crusade to recover the Shrine Worlds of Hyperia, Solkan, Emmian, Bakan and Jokira as well as making sure the forces of the Arch Enemy can not take the planet of Istar. To do this you need to work with the High Marshal of the Imperial Guard.

Master Unit List

You need to create a 4000 point master unit list. This is your starting force. As units die they will be removed from your list. You may add to this list with other effects, these may take you over your starting power. All units from this list must share the same faction rules (i.e. Bloody Rose).

Your force may not start with Repentia, Arco-Flegilant, Penitent Engine or Mortifier Units. You may not include named characters and you may never have more than one Canoness in your master list.

No more than 25% of your list may be made up of units that have the Imperium Keyword but are not part of Codex Adepta Sororitas.

Strategic Points

You may gain additional Strategic Points in three ways.

  1. At the start of every event day gain 3 Strategic Points for each Shrine World controlled by the Imperium.
  2. You may gain 1 Strategic Point in a game by spending 5 miracle dice on it.
  3. Each time a Shrine world is liberated gain 240 Strategic Points.

Injury Rolls

For each model removed as a casualty during the game roll a D6. On a 3+ the model is injured or damaged but is available for the next game. On a 1-2 the model is destroyed and is removed from your master list.

If the model is a character, roll instead on the table below;

  • 2-3: Killed In Action, remove the model from your master list.
  • 4-5: Miss the next d3 games.
  • 6-7: Miss the next game.
  • 8+: This model may be used in the next game.

Penitent Sisters

Penitent Sister units are created by the failings of Imperial forces.

Roll 1 D6 or each Sister of Battle model that is lost whilst battleshocked, on a 4+ you remove 1 model from that unit and gain one Sister Penitent. You may choose to field Sister Penitents in any game in addition to your point limit. Sister Penitents may be chosen to be fielded as Mortifiers or Repentia Units. In the case of Repentia units you may field the Repentia Superior in addition.

For each Sister Penitent model (excluding the Repentia Superior) removed as a casualty you gain 1 Strategic Point. Roll to see if casualties are killed as per usual, if a model is killed remove them from your list of Sister Penitents.

Through Pain Redemption

Each time an Imperial Astra Militarum player loses a game you may offer them penance. If they do not offer penance and you find out you may choose to force them to offer penance.

An Astra Militarum player that offers penance picks one of their Regiments that fought in the battle they lost. This Regiment is unavailable for an additional game as they seek Penance. You gain 2d6 Penitents. The Astra Militarum player gains 1 Strategic Point per Penitent you gain.

An Astra Militarum player that is forced to offer penance to you must choose one of their Regiments. That Regiment is unavailable for the next d3 games. You gain 2d6 Penitents for each game the Regiment misses. The Astra Militarum player does not receive any Strategic Points.

You do not have to make an Astra Militarum player offer penance. You can also make the penance different to those listed above (e.g. “your Lord General has to fight in at least 3 rounds of combat in the next game”).

Penitent Units

For each Penitent you have you may field either Arco-Flagelants or Penitent Engines. You may field one model for each Penitent you have in your list of Penitents. These models may be fielded in addition to your normal points limit.

For every 5 Penitent models removed as a casualty during your game each Imperial Astra Militarum player gains 1 Strategic Point.

Roll for all casualties after the battle as per normal, removing models killed from your list of Penitents.

Penitents used to field Penitent Engines are automatically killed and removed from your list.
